I am a family lawyer practising in Richmond. With my experience both in the courtroom and at the negotiation table, and with my in-depth knowledge of the law, I can help you with all aspects of family law, including divorce, child care, child and spousal support, and property division.
Your first hour with me is absolutely free.*
At our first consultation, regardless of whether you choose to retain me, I will provide you with:
- a concrete plan of action about what you should be doing next to resolve your family law issues;
- all the information and resources you will need to move forward with your file, with or without the use of a lawyer; and
- a detailed assessment of your rights and obligations arising from the breakdown of your relationship.
I believe that everyone deserves the right to know what rights and protections the law affords them. There are no obligations or commitments from our first meeting, unless you choose to retain me as your lawyer. Please feel free to contact me by telephone for an appointment, or book a meeting with me electronically using the secure, confidential form below. If you aren't sure where to start organizing your thoughts, you can also try filling out one of my client intake forms before coming to meet with me.
*Consultations are subject to my availability, and must be held in my office, during my ordinary office hours. If you would like a consultation booked on an urgent basis, outside my office, or outside of my ordinary office hours, a non-refundable consultation fee of $300.00, payable in advance of the consultation, will apply. If you would like me to meet you elsewhere than my office, an additional travel surcharge of $5.00 per kilometre travelled will apply. If more than an hour is required for the initial consultation, I will issue an invoice for any additional time at my standard billing rate of $300.00 per hour. GST and PST apply to all of these fees and charges. Compound interest shall accrue on any unpaid fees at the rate of 18% per annum.
